I've made art over the years because it helps me see and reconsider the world in ways that temper my immediate response or preconceptions.

I hope this page offers you a different view of daily life during COVID-19, and hopefully offers a reprieve as each of us adjusts from what we know by habit to what is now valuable, useful, kind, patient, considered funny, etc...

There are good things that can come from this with practice and patience.

All Season Tree (nfs, personal, family collection)

Chine colle is a printmaking process in which layers of printed papers are laminated together. In my practice this results in variations in image combinations, color variations, and layers.

Size: 11" x 18"

Materials: rice paper, soy based inks

Birds

Frotage is accomplished by rubbing graphite or other drawing materials over paper held against a textured surface. You may be recalling your childhood crayons.

Size: 12" x 30.25"

Materials: graphite, on laminated rice paper (intended for mounting in a shoji screen, which can be customized and priced to accomodate your space)

If you wish to buy a piece of Art from me, know that 50% of proceeds from any reasonable offer will be donated to support the Connecticut Food Bank. I do not post prices, but each piece is hand made . My intent is for some type of original, one-of-a-kind art to meet your budget whenever possible. Contact me from this page.
